What is Help App Africa?
Help App Africa is a platform that connects users with local service providers for a wide
range of services. Whether you
need a plumber, electrician, cleaner, or any other professional, Help App Africa makes it
easy to find and book reliable
service providers.
How do I sign up on Help App?
You can sign up by downloading the application from App Store or Google Play. Open the app
and follow the prompts to
create an account by providing the required credentials.
Is Help App Africa available in my city?
Help App Africa is currently available in 3 cities - Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt. However,
we are continuously expanding
to new cities. Check the app or our website for the latest list of supported locations.
How can I reset my password?
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and follow the instructions to reset your
password.
What documents are required to sign up as a service provider?
To become a service provider on Help App, you need to provide your full name, phone
number, address, a proof of
identity, and any relevant certifications or licenses for the services you offer including
but not limited to CAC.
How long does the verification process take?
Help App's verification is automated such that it only takes a few minutes to complete.
Can I log in using my social accounts?
Yes, you can login using your google or apple ID
Can I get a refund if I cancel a service?
Refund policies vary based on selected service. Please check the company's cancellation
policy before booking.
Do I get charged for canceling a service?
You are allowed to cancel services up to three times per month without a fee. After the
third cancellation, a fee of
₦500 will be charged for each subsequent cancellation within the same month.
Are there any fees for transactions?
Transaction fees apply only to outward transfers and are consistent with the Central Bank
of Nigeria (CBN) guidelines.
Can I reschedule a booking?
No, Help App does not provide the ability to reschedule a booking at the moment.
What should I do if I need to cancel a booking as a service provider?
If you need to cancel a booking, notify the customer as soon as possible through the app
and provide a reason for the
cancellation.
Can I offer multiple services?
No, Help App does not provide the ability to list multiple services as a provider at the
moment.
How do I view a provider’s portfolio?
Tap on your preferred service provider’s profile to see their portfolio, which includes
details of previous work,
customer reviews, and ratings, pricing and availability schedules.
What should I do if I have a problem with a service?
Contact our support team immediately. We will work with you and the service provider to
resolve the issue.
